How To Be a Yellowknifer: France Benoit

November 17, 2016

France Benoit, a Yellowknife Farmer, joins us on this episode of the How To Be a Yellowknifer Podcast.

Having been a Government employee, Justice of the Peace, filmmaker, non-profit organizer and now a farmer at an off-grid acreage, France has done a lot of things in Yellowknife since she arrived in the late 1980's.

She explains how Yellowknife is a place where if you want to do something all you have to do is try, and most of the time it works out. Currently, a farmer on the Ingraham Trail France also shares her advice for any budding gardeners in Yellowknife (see what I did there) who want to try their hand at growing their own food.

Listen to this episode to learn more about what France has to say about Yellowknife.
